Fanclub concerns

Australian fanclub concerns!

Do you think that you are paying to much for being a fan?

If your answer is yes, then you will find the comments from other fans below quite interesting.

The letter that started all the comments:
----------------------------------------

Hi,
I was wondering does anyone else in Australia think that the 'Backstage with JBJ' fanclub is getting TOO EXPENSIVE?

All I get is 4 magazines a year (lately with no useful information in it). The only time it was almost worth it was when I first joined, i got a sticker, guitar pick,  bookmark and a few other small items.

I have heard that other band fanclubs (ie: Metallica) provide their fans with much more stuff throughout a years membership. For around $40 US to stay a member which ends up as  around $70 Australian because of how low our dollar is, it is getting a bit rough. I think we should be compensated a bit better, I don't expect to get  tickets to every show, but for the amount we end up paying I think we should get a better magazine!

The magazine is really starting to annoy me  actually, I can't waited to get it each time, but then when I do, all it has  is information from fans. I don't mind getting some of that, but not a whole magazine full of it and nothing else that is useful! Their website has plenty of other information, why can't they provide some of that in the magazine. Or provide fans with some free stuff (ie: posters, stickers, etc).

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE BON JOVI and can't wait to get each magazine to hear more about them, but I don't feel like I am getting a fair deal for my membership.

To top it off anyone living outside of Melbourne would have been more annoyed when the band decided to only play there. This would have been our one chance to gain back some compensation for our money, but then it was taken away from most of us non-Melbourne  fans.

Please let me know if this is also an issue for you. Any comments on this topic are greatly appreciated.

Remember to keep the faith,
From Nadia Lakatos
